PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety, by absorbing shocks on an underwater sailing body to prevent damage to a hull, in a shock absorbing apparatus for an underwater sailing body. SOLUTION: A partition wall 22 is fixed to an peripheral face of an inner shell 13 of the underwater sailing body 11 to form a compartment 23, and an air supply apparatus 25 having an operation valve that can supply air to the compartment 23. Therefore, the air is supplied as needed to absorb the shocks from the outside by the air in the compartment 23 and thereby to prevent damage to the inner shell 13. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
