THE HOOK MACHINE

A method and apparatus is provided for inserting a hook into a tape. The ho ok has a free end for insertion in the tape and the tape is folded about its longitudinal axis to present a pair of oppositely directed surfaces. The hook is moved toward and through the tape which is then unfolded with the hook inserted.
