PROTON-CONDUCTIVE RESIN, MIXED LIQUID FOR MANUFACTURING PROTON-CONDUCTIVE RESIN, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton-conductive resin manufactured by a sol-gel processing which resin comprises the skeletal structure of silicic acid and a Broensted acid and can be manufactured at a temperature lower than a heat- resistant temperature of a conventional plastics with keeping the high flexibility and without damaging the proton-conductive characteristics.

SOLUTION: The mixed liquid of a sol state for preparing the proton- conductive resin is manufactured by mixing a Broensted acid and a polyhydric alcohol, adding thereto an alcohol as the solvent, then adding thereto an alkoxide of Si or a hydrolytic polymer thereof; the proton-conductive resin of a gel state is obtained by coating the above proton conductive resin- manufacturing mixed liquid on a substrate or by storing this liquid in a container such as a petri dish or the like, thereafter heating to evaporate and remove the above solvent and then drying to thereby form a proton-conductive resin of a gel state; and the proton-conductive resin of a membranous or bulk body is manufactured by drying additionally this proton-conductive resin of a gel state.
