PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave-sensitive material showing a sufficiently large change in real part n and/or imaginary part k of a complex refractive index, a paint therewith, and laminated products therewith. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic wave-sensitive material contains at least an electromagnetic sensitive substance, of which real part n and/or imaginary part k of a complex refractive index to the electromagnetic wave in a wavelength region of 400-1,000 nm (wavelength region A) change in response to an electromagnetic wave, and a resin containing an amide structure, and when this electromagnetic wave-sensitive material formed into a film with an arbitrary thickness in the range of 10-5,000 nm is exposed to a KrF excimer laser of 500 mJ/cm<SP>2</SP>, the change of above-mentioned n or that of above-mentioned k of the whole electromagnetic wave-sensitive material to a 600 nm electromagnetic wave is not less than 5×10<SP>-3</SP>or not less than 5×10<SP>-4</SP>, respectively.
