PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a torque of a motor, and to reduce losses caused by the contact resistances of brush portions. SOLUTION: By setting the direction of driving of a linear motor to a circumferential direction, a torque which is constant in respect to time and stable is generated by a direct current. Besides, energy losses caused by the contact resistance can be removed, by dispensing with a brush while using permanent magnets as shown in Drawing 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
