PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fabric for inkjet dying presenting sharp patterns without bleeding and no reduction in sharpness even when wetted with water. SOLUTION: The fabric containing at least a regenerated cellulose fiber is treated with an aqueous solution containing 10-200 g/l cationic compound such as a polyamine-based compound, a quaternary ammonium salt compound, or the like. A water soluble natural polymer or a synthetic polymer as a water absorbing material and an alkaline agent are used in treating the fabric. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
