PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle exclusive charger for a portable telephone which is applied to another apparatus while a portable telephone is charged, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This vehicle exclusive charger for a portable telephone has a connection plug 4 which can be connected freely with a cigar lighter outlet provided in a cabin, a charge control circuit which controls an output voltage and an output current from the connection plug to be a set input voltage and a set input current for a portable telephone battery, a charging unit 1 in which at least one vehicle battery outlet 2 is provided via the connection plug, and a charging jack 6 via which the output voltage and the output current from the charge control circuit are supplied to a charging connector of the portable telephone.
