SPEECH AVAILABILITY INFORMATION ACQUISITION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech availability information acquisition method by which a user can recognize whether or not a mobile terminal is in a speech available state before making dial so as to relieve the load on dialing operations by the user. SOLUTION: A home memory 133 receives up-to-date position information sent from a mobile terminal 123 through a wireless base station 121 and an in-zone mobile communication controller 132 and stores the information in cross-reference with the identification number of the mobile terminal 123. A fixed terminal 112 acquires speech availability information of a plurality of mobile terminals coincident with the number of the mobile terminal 123 registered in the memory 113 from the home memory 133 inside a mobile communication exchange 103 and writes the information to the memory 113 to acquire the speech availability information of a plurality of mobile terminals at the same time without the need for making a call.
