PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the process of manufacturing a crankshaft provided with a plate for internal combustion engine timing control, and to mount the plate securely. SOLUTION: A timing plate 21 into which the shaft 11 of a crankshaft 1 loosely is inserted has sensed claws 24 arranged along its outer circumference. It is positioned, using knock pins 44, 45 protruding from a crankshaft weight 14, in the directions of its rotation and radius and connected, using a 2nd bolt 42 and a 3rd bolt 43, to the weight 14.
