The machine consists of a horizontal tunnel in the form of two linked cylinders set side by side and open at both ends, preferably supported by legs or a frame. The tunnel has inlet apertures for introducing the different ingredients of the dough or pastry at its first end, and contains two parallel contrarotating shafts with auger spirals to mix the ingredients, vanes and kneading blades. The outlet end of the tunnel has a nozzle (14) that retains the dough/pastry to prevent it emerging too quickly.
