PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainfall meter capable of surely introducing rainwater into a capillary, and advantageous for measuring the rainfall accurately by preventing an influence of dust included in the rainwater. SOLUTION: This rainfall meter is constituted by providing in a casing 10 a water storage sub-tank 100 including a water receiving funnel (water collection means) 102 for accepting the rainwater, a water storage main tank (rainwater induction means) 200 for storing the rainwater collected by the water receiving funnel 102, and a measuring circuit (measuring means) 300 for measuring the instantaneous rainfall (change of rainfall) at the measuring time from dropping time intervals of waterdrops dropping down from the water storage main tank 200 through the capillary 210. In order to drop the rainwater in the water storage main tank 200 downward smoothly, at least the inner circumferential face of the capillary 210 is preferably formed from material having affinity for water.
