PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply proper synchronizing signal processing to a synchronizing signal so as to enhance the reception performance of a television receiver even how the synchronizing signal part is eroded by each reception channel due to the effect of electric field strength or cross-modulation. SOLUTION: A synchronizing separator circuit for a video signal includes: a memory 7 that stores a correction voltage used for synchronizing separation of a received video signal; and a low pass filter that cuts off a high frequency component of the video signal, and gives an output signal from the low pass filter and applies a correction voltage outputted from the memory to an input stage of the synchronizing separation correction circuit 4 to control a synchronizing separation detection level.
