PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible printed wiring board wherein it can be inserted in proper with ease, and it is prevented from undergoing excess force against its destruction, and further it is prevented from undergoing bad electric connection between connectors owing to its insufficient insertion. SOLUTION: A reinforcing plate 21 is bonded with the backside of a base film 20 in a connection section of an FPC, and a copper foil pattern 22 is bonded with the surface of the reinforcing plate 21, and further they are covered with a cover lay film 23. When the FPC is inserted properly into a connector 1, a semicircular small cutout 24 is formed at opposite edges of the FPC which is matched with end edges of an insertion port 2 of the connector 1.
