PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass flow meter which acts on Coriolis' principle, and an operation method therefor, capable of operating even in the case where the maximum usable power is limited and changed timewise. SOLUTION: Related to the method, the power used for the mass flow meter is controlled depending on a usable power.
