<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector generating no abnormal sound when a movable member is rotated. <P>SOLUTION: A movable member 1 having an inner cylinder part 1a and a brim part 4a, a fixed member 2 having an outer cylinder part 2b and a bottom plate part 2a, and a flat cable 6 wound around to a space part 3 between the inner cylinder part 1a and the outer cylinder part 2b to fix both ends to the movable member 1 and the fixed member 2, are provided. An internal peripheral edge of the bottom plate part 2a has an engaging part 2d engaged to freely rotate with the brim part 4a. Its outer surface side has a protruded part 4d generated by a die matching surface when the brim part 4a is mold resin molded.
