<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axle pinion bearing device and a vehicular final reduction gear, capable of improving supporting stiffness and a life thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In this axle pinion bearing device, the contacting angle α=30° of a tapered roller train 7 in a pinion side of a pinion shaft 1 is made to be larger than the contacting angle β=20° of a tapered roller train 8 of an opposite pinion side. Therefore, as compared with a case that both contacting angles α, β are equal to each other, a diametrical direction load distribution to the tapered roller train 7 in the pinion side is decreased, and a diametrical direction load to the tapered roller train 8 in the opposite pinion side is increased. Therefore, the diametrical direction load to the tapered roller train 7 in the pinion side and the diametrical load to the tapered roller train 8 in the opposite side are brought close to each other. Imbalance between the diametrical direction loads between two tapered roller trains 7, 8 is eased, thereby improving supporting stiffness and a life thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
