<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device for a system ceiling, which is suitable for using in combination with facility apparatuses on the system ceiling made of a grid ceiling and can be simplified in manufacturing process, and is easy in construction work and improved in transportation efficiency, and of which cost of manufacturing and transportation can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination unit which is installed on the grid 1 made of T-bars 1a is split into an illumination apparatus with a stabilizer 2 having a stabilizer 2e and a connecting socket 2c and an illumination apparatus 3 having a connection cable 3c, and they are respectively locked and use the stabilizer in common.
