PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor structure of a permanent magnet rotary machine capable reducing a temperature rise in a permanent magnet by restraining the eddy current loss of the permanent magnet more positively. SOLUTION: A looped conductive member 6 is disposed at a rotor core 2 so as to be positioned between an N-pole permanent magnet 4A and an S-pole permanent magnet 4B adjacent to each other. Otherwise, a cylindrical enclosure covering the whole outer periphery of a rotor is provided. In the enclose, only its section between the N-pole permanent magnet and the S-pole permanent magnet is formed out of conductive material and the rest is formed out of an electric insulation material.
