PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure for a bridge constantly providing certain lifting force to a floor slab or a bridge girder, reducing stress due to a live load of a traveling vehicle or the like applied to the floor slab or the bridge girder, and reducing stress generated by a dead load where no active load is applied, namely, a dead load by the weight of the bridge itself. SOLUTION: The reinforcing structure for the bridge is composed so that an inter-bridge pier erection beam 5 extending along a floor slab 1 bottom or a bridge girder bottom is additionally erected between bridge piers 4, a jack 6 is interposed between the inter-bridge pier erection beam 5 and the floor slab 1 or the bridge girder, and the lifting force is applied to the floor slab 1 or the bridge girder by the jack 6.
