<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer wherein polarization and leading-out of electrodes are easy, and further, stable output characteristic can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The piezoelectric transformer is provided with a piezoelectric member 31 constituted of a first surface, a second surface, and from third to sixth surfaces which link the first and the second surfaces of a rectangular parallelepiped, an input electrode 32 formed on one of two parts which are formed by dividing equally the first surface of the piezoelectric member 31, a ground electrode 34 which is formed on the second surface of the piezoelectric member 31 so as to be mutually symmetrical to the input electrode 32, and an output electrode 33 which is formed spreading from an end portion facing the input electrode 32 of the first surface of the piezoelectric member 31 to the third surface on a side surface and an end portion of the second surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
