<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a pinhole in a light shielding film formed on a counter substrate, causing light contamination to a switching element such as a TFT, in a liquid crystal display panel. <P>SOLUTION: The generation of the pinhole in the light shielding film 20 is suppressed by adding an element suppressing the generation and the progress of migration of a metal thin film which constitutes a high reflection thin film 21 into the high reflection film 21 which constitutes the light shielding film 20 provided on a light transmissive substrate 10 in a matrix shape, in the counter substrate 100 used for the liquid crystal display panel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
