PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information terminal carrying out radio communication with an equipment apparatus and not reducing convenience of an external interface without respect to a usage environment. SOLUTION: The information terminal 104 having a function of radio communication with a gas meter is provided with an antenna 201 for transmitting/ receiving radio waves and the external interface 205 storing information and the like in a storage medium. The antenna 201 is arranged on one side face of a casing body for the information terminal 104, while the external interface 205 is arranged on a side face different from the casing body side face for arranging the antenna 201. In this way, convenience of the external interface 205 is not spoiled even when the antenna 201 is turned in an installation environment, while breakage of the antenna 201 is reduced and reliability of gas maintenance monitoring is improved in the information terminal 104.
