PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery charger for portable terminal, a portable terminal device, an information managing method and a program therefor in which data in a portable terminal are managed in the case of battery charging and the data can be maintained and shared by simple operation. SOLUTION: A CPU 11 receives the telephone number of a connected portable terminal 100. A telephone number collating part 15 collates the received telephone number with telephone numbers stored in a memory part 14. When it is decided that the received telephone number is matched with any one telephone number stored in the memory part 14, the CPU 11 receives the information stored in a memory part 5. A memory collating part 16 collates the received information with information stored in the memory part 14. When it is decided that the received information is not matched with the information stored in the memory part 14, the CPU 11 writes the received information in the memory part 14.
