PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire-abnormality detection system by which the abnormality occurrence of a tire in a test vehicle can be detected at an early stage and surely even when the performance test of the vehicle is made by an automatic driving operation and which can deal quickly with the abnormality occurrence. SOLUTION: The tire-abnormality detection system D is installed at a testing apparatus used to make the performance test of the vehicle 1 by driving the vehicle, and the abnormality of tires T, T, etc., in the vehicle 1 is detected. The detection system D is constituted in such a way that a fixation member 5 one end 5a of which is connected to any one from among four corners 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d of the vehicle 1 and the other end 5b of which is connected to an immovable part such as a floor, a pillar, a wall or the like situated at the outside of the four corners of the vehicle 1 is installed, that a tension detection means 9 is installed at the fixation member 5 and that a tire-abnormality detection signal is output when the means 9 detects a definite tension or more.
