PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield-gauge-pressure-type pressure sensor or an absolute- pressure-type pressure sensor with a reduced number of manufacturing man- hours. SOLUTION: A pressure sensor 1' comprises a housing 10' with a pressure inlet 12, a pressure detecting element 22 comprised of a semiconductor element with piezo-resistance effects, a holder 30 for fastening the pressure detecting element 22, a guide member 98, a sealing member 99, and a connector case 70, and a pressure space 72 for reference is formed by airtightly joining the pressure detecting element 22 to the holder 30 in a pressure sensor main body. A circuit board 40 with an electrode pad is provided on the holder 30 of the pressure sensor main body. A connector 80 provided for the connector case 70 is connected to the electrode pad by an elastic and electrically conductive spring-like body 50. The holder 30 is held by the guide member 98.
