<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor device for a vehicle driven by a three-phase inverter which materializes the rise of reliability, the reduction of magnetic noise, the reduction of loss, and the reduction of switching noise. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of three-phase armature windings 31 and 32 of a synchronous motor 3 for a vehicle are controlled individually for their drive by a pair of three-phase inverter circuits 10 and 20. Consequently, even if the action of one three-phase inverter circuit fails, this device can stop it and operate the synchronous motor for a vehicle without any problem with a remaining three- phase inverter circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
