<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detour path designing device capable of preventing a failure in the search of a detour path on a network on which the detour path exists. <P>SOLUTION: An active path search part 11 searches a shortest route from a starting point to an ending point while using the network as it is. A network preparing part 12 for detour path search prepares a network for detour path search. A detour path search part 13 searches a shortest route to all nodes including the starting point and the ending point for the detour path. A network preparing part 14 for active path search prepares a network from an active path obtained by the active path search part 11 and the path obtained by the detour path search part 13.
