摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuating mechanism for setting axial direction usable in a setting process in different kinds of devices, in particular, an intermediate axle drive device. SOLUTION: This actuating mechanism usable with the purpose of setting axial direction is provided with three discs which are supported co-axially and whose central disc is rotatable relative to two outer discs. Ball sets are arranged between the central disc and each of outer discs. Each ball runs in a pair of surrounding channels which are on a face of the central disc and one face of the outer disc which face mutually. The surrounding channel is provided with a depth variable depending on a surrounding position. The channel is extended in such a way that it moves in the axial direction up to a second terminal position deviated from a first terminal position through a central position from the first terminal position over the whole relative rotation angle and the second outer disc returns up to the first terminal position through the second terminal position deviated from the first terminal position from the first terminal position.
