PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic engine stopping starting device with an automatic transmission capable of preventing transmission shock while avoiding interlock. SOLUTION: A hydraulic automatic transmission 7 has a solenoid open-close valve 23 between its forward clutch C1 and an engine drive hydraulic pump 9 and an electric hydraulic pump 17 supplies hydraulic pressure to a hydraulic circuit 21 between the forward clutch C1 and the solenoid open-close valve 23. As the solenoid open-close valve 23 is closed at the time of automatic stop of an engine 1 and the solenoid open-close valve 23 is opened and the electric hydraulic pump 17 is stopped at the time of the engine re-start, interlock is not generated.
