PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing type panel box for a terminal device, in which projected matters will not become hindrance upon not using the device or upon movement or transportation of the same while securing excellent operability and visibility of connectors, switches, terminals or the like mounted on a panel, by improving the box for desk type and portable type information terminal devices having input-output function. SOLUTION: In the box for the desk type and portable type information terminal devices provided on the box body with the connectors, switches, terminals, an LCD display or the like, the panel unit is attached to the box body so as to be free from being opened and closed to permit the mounting surface of the connectors, switches, terminals, LCD display or the like to be projected outside of the box body upon opening the panel unit, while permitting the reception of the mounting surface into the box body upon closing the panel unit.
