PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter, by which the appearance of the edge of eaves is improved in case of a new roof, a roof repair and a rain-gutter repair while preventing intrusion into the rain gutter of dust such as the dead leaves of trees without obstructing the function of the rain gutter. SOLUTION: The rain gutter A is formed of a cover surface 1, a fixed surface 1a in which a plurality of water-flowing holes 4 formed by a notching are formed along the longitudinal direction to the cover surface 1 while the upper end of the cover surface 1 is projected upwards, a water-flowing surface 2 in which the lower end of the cover surface 1 is projected in the skeleton direction, a waterproof surface 3 in which the front end of the water-flowing surface 2 is projected upwards, a rear 5 in which the front end of the waterproof surface 3 is drooped downwards, a base 6, in which the lower end of the rear 5 is projected to the cover surface 1 side, and a surface 7 in which the front end of the base 6 is projected upwards.
