FIELD: manufacture of absorbing materials for children and grownups. SUBSTANCE: nappy has enclosure with inner and outer walls connected with one another along their outer edges for defining internal cavity. Outer wall has moisture absorbing outer layer and moisture repellent inner layer. Inner wall has moisture repellent outer layer and moisture absorbing inner layer. Inner and outer walls are separated by internal cavity incorporating at least one container having single-layer or multiple-layer wall defining chamber for certain volume of water. Multiple-layer wall has moisture-repellent inner multiple-layer material and moisture-absorbing outer multiple-layer material. Method involves manual rupturing of containers resulting in flowing of water into double-walled enclosure and destroying moisture-absorbing inner layers of both enclosure walls and their moisture -repellent outer layers. Absorbing member on inner wall of enclosure has moisture-permeable housing incorporating inner basic part of absorbing member made from material having moisture-absorbing capacity sufficient for absorbing urine and other body excreta, with structural integrity of said basic part being kept, as well as for absorbing water in amounts sufficient for destroying said part into small fragments.
