PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an aliphatic polyester sewing thread which is a sewing thread having excellent sewing properties and handleability and a beautiful seam, is readily degradable in the natural environment and is especially suitable for clothing, a clothing material and an industrial material and a sewn product using the same. SOLUTION: The aliphatic polyester sewing thread is a sewing thread obtained by subjecting a polyester multiflament yarn to first twist and ply twist.
