PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust the characteristics of a double-mode bandpass filter from its single direction. SOLUTION: In each of resonance chambers 3, 4 divided by partitions 2 of the inside of a housing 1 of the double-mode bandpass filter, there is provided a resonator 5 (6) whose disk-form dielectric has in both the end portions of its diameter slit portions 5a (6a) extending in the direction orthogonal to its disk surface. Further, a cover 9 of the housing 1 has means 11, 12 (14, 13) for adjusting respectively the frequencies of the X and Y modes of a double degeneration mode excited by the resonator 5 (6), a means 15 (16) for adjusting the coupling of the X and Y modes to each other, and a means 18 for adjusting the coupling of the double degeneration modes to each other which are resonated in the respective resonance chambers.
