PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a pair of gears in a primary reduction part for high speed stage and low speed stage having exclusive specifications to improve noise performance and gear strength. SOLUTION: In a gear train for five-speed manual gear shift device in which a five-speed gear 5G of the five-speed manual gear shift device in which four speeds are directly connected and a reverse gear RG are opposingly arranged, the primary reduction part of the five-speed gear train 5G as the high speed stage is a pair of four-speed gears 4G as a pair of input gears, and the primary reduction part of the reverse gear train RG as the low speed stage is a pair of second gears 2G.
