A protector, e.g. for one sterile container (1) linked to a second one for the transfer of objects, has a protective component (21) with a wall (25) that covers the joint between the two containers when they are connected, and a positioning element (26) for the wall (25). The positioning element comprises one or more zones on the protective component, pressed against a seat (5) surrounding the opening in one of the containers. The protective component is connected to the inner wall of its container by an arm (22) and pivot that allows it to be deployed or retracted.
