FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of nitrogen-containing master alloys for alloying titanium alloys by aluminothermic melting. SUBSTANCE: proposed charge contains superoxides of refractory metals, aluminum powder, calcium oxide and calcium fluoride at additional introduction of aluminum oxide, vanadium nitride at the following relationship of components, mass-%: superoxides of refractory metals, 43.0-58.0; aluminum powder, 25.0-40.0; aluminum oxide, 6.0-17.0; calcium oxide, 5,0-7.8; calcium fluoride, 0.5-1.2; vanadium nitride, 0.18-3.0.
