VEHICULAR POWER TRANSMISSION CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assure predetermined engine braking force or accelerating performance even in the case when an electric motor generator cannot provide initial performance.

SOLUTION: This vehicular power transmission control device is adapted to transmit rotation driving force from an engine E and the electric motor generator to wheels via a continuously variable transmission CVT. Herein, with the variable speed ratio of the continuously variable transmission CVT being controlled corresponding to the operated condition of a vehicle, the output of the transmission is transmitted to the wheels to give traveling drive to the vehicle. The variable speed ratio of the transmission is corrected depending on a difference between the required output of the electric motor generator set corresponding to a vehicle speed V and the actual output of the electric motor generator.
