<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a display device having excellent visibility and little variance in the display chromaticity between the pixels of an identical hue. <P>SOLUTION: A reflecting film 11 to reflect external light is formed on a substrate 12, and a color layer 10 having a plurality of colorless regions which are substantially colorless is formed with a plurality of colors of red (R), green (G) and blue (B) on the reflecting film 11. A colorless layer 6 substantially colorless is formed in the colorless region on the reflecting film 11. The color layer 10 is successively formed for all hues in the respective regions on the reflecting film 11 except for the colorless region where the colorless layer 6 is formed. Since the colorless layer 6 is formed prior to formation of the color layer 10, misalignment of the colorless layer 6 can be prevented without depending on the manufacturing accuracy of the color layer 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
