PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission method in which ACL link resources can be efficiently utilized in the case of transmitting/receiving a packet after an ACL link is set on the basis of Bluetooth standard. SOLUTION: A Bluetooth device A determines the maximum value of a packet size to be transmitted to a Bluetooth device B to which a link is set on the basis of the ratio of a token rate A requested from the device A and a token rate B requested from the device B. When the token rate A is the token rate B or more, a maximum value N among the candidates of a time slot number occupiable as an ACL packet at present is set. When the token rate A is smaller than the token rate B, on the basis of a value U = value N×token rate A/token rate B, one of candidates of the time slot number occupiable as the ACL packet at present is selected.
