PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat sink for cooling down a fin by flowing of air in two mutually perpendicular directions, and for realizing its manufacture at low cost. SOLUTION: A fin 13 having slits 13a is made by penetrating plate-like material, while a base 12 is provided with a plurality of pairs of furrow-like projections 12a, 12b. Calking is executed by fitting the fin 13 between each pair of the projections 12a and 12b, thereby, a plurality of fins 13 are bonded to the base 12 and are united. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
