PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of color matching coating capable of simply checking a predetermined amount of color matching coating and easily checking an allowed ratio of a pigment paste. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the color matching coating of a predetermined coating canned amount comprises (A) a process of preparing a can in which an amount A of 70 to 99 wt.% of coating base is put in and (B) a process of matching a color to a standard color, calculating a compounding amount of each pigment paste to be added to the amount A of the coating base to make a predetermined coating canned amount, mixing each pigment paste of the calculated compounding amount in the can containing the amount A of the coating base and shaking the can.
