<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing high-purity soybean saponin, capable of producing the soybean saponin having a purity of approximately 100%. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the high-purity soybean saponin comprises a degreasing process in which a raw material of soybean powder is subjected to degreasing treatment, an alcoholic eluate fraction-recovering process in which an alcoholic extract from the soybean powder subjected to the degreasing treatment is concentrated, the concentrated extract is dissolved or suspended in water and made to be adsorbed by a synthetic resin adsorbent so as to remove a water-soluble fraction therefrom, then the adsorbed material is eluted with an alcohol to give an alcoholic eluate fraction, and the alcoholic eluate fraction is recovered, a drying process in which the alcoholic eluate fraction is dried to give a dried material, and a solvent eluate fraction- recovering process in which the dried material is made to be adsorbed by another adsorbent and eluted with a solvent to give a solvent eluate fraction and the solvent eluate fraction is recovered. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
