<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt-driven electronic component mounter in which over tightening is prevented when a timing belt is secured while being clamped. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component mounter comprises an XY driver for moving a head unit which mounts an electronic component on a substrate. In the XY driver, the head unit is disposed to move in the X-axis direction through belt drive on an X-axis frame being driven in the Y-axis direction through belt drive. A securing means 80 for connecting a timing belt 1 to the head unit or the X-axis frame has a pair of members 2 and 30 being tightened by means of a screw 4 to clamp the timing belt 1. One clamping member 30 has a tubular protrusion 31 surrounding a through hole 30a for passing the screw 4. When the clamping members 2 and 30 are tightened by means of the screw 4 with the timing belt 1 being clamped between the pair of clamping members 2 and 30, the protrusion 31 of the clamping member 30 abuts against the clamping member 2 thus preventing over tightening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
