摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor laser which has a high wavelength stability and prevents a kink from occurring. SOLUTION: An optical amplifier integrated excitation light source is realized by forming a semiconductor laser element for outputting a plurality of laser beams of longitudinal oscillation modes containing diffraction gratings, and an optical amplifier for amplifying the laser beam generated from the laser element to output the beam to the exterior on an n-type InP substrate 1. Thus, the injected current of the laser element is fixed to fix the oscillation wavelength, and the injection current of the amplifier is changed to change the optical output of the laser element.
