PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a string-inserting tool capable of simply holding a string in a holding part and removing the string from the holding part by a simple operation only comprising inserting the string into the holding part and drawing the string. SOLUTION: The holding part 12 of the string-inserting tool 10 is equipped with a mooring claw part 13 raised so as to make an acute angle with the tool body 11 toward the top side of the tool body 11 and having needle-shaped top and a guide part 14 opposed to the top of the mooring claw part 13 at a prescribed interval. An inclined part 14A separated from the tool body 11 while inclining toward the rear end side of the tool body 11 is provided in the guide part 14. The guide part 14 guides the string 20 inserted from the back of the tool body 11 into a space between the guide part 14 and the mooring claw part 13 in the top direction of the mooring claw part 13.
