摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oxygen introduced rare earth activated alkaline earth metal halogen fluoride-based stimulable phosphor with good yield and to provide a radiation image conversion panel having good brightness and structural mottle by using the stimulable phosphor. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an oxygen introduced rare earth activated alkaline earth metal halogen fluoride-based stimulable phosphor which has a phosphorus content of≤50 ppm and is represented by formula (1): Ba<SB>(1-x)</SB>M<SB>2(x)</SB>FBr<SB>(y)</SB>I<SB>(1-y)</SB>: aM<SB>1</SB>, bLn, cO (wherein M<SB>1</SB>is at least one element to be selected from Li, Na, K, Rb or Cs; M<SB>2</SB>is at least one element to be selected from Be, Mg, Sr or Ca; Ln is at least one element to be selected from Ce, Pr, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Tm, Dy, Ho, Nd, Er and Yb; x, y, a, b, and c are 0≤x≤0.3, 0<y≤0.3, 0≤a≤0.05, 0<b≤0.2, and 0<c≤0.1, respectively) comprises removing a solvent from a reaction fluid having a barium concentration of≥3.3 mol/L to obtain a stimulable phosphor precursor.
