<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved system and method for ordering a part of a device in a factory to a part supplier out of the factory online. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises a device mediation part 22, a supplier mediation part 23, a list management part 26, a retrieval part 28, a number giving part 32, an order note management part 34, and an order part 36. The list management part 26 stores device information consisting of two or more information units and a corresponding list showing the corresponding relation between the name and quantity of the necessary part. The retrieval part 28 retrieves the name and quantity of the necessary part corresponding to the information unit of the device information in reference to the corresponding list. The order note management part 24 stores an order note showing the corresponding relation among the information unit of the device information, the name and quantity of the necessary part, and the order number given in the number giving part 32.
