PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure both brightness of reflection type display and saturation of transmission type display.

SOLUTION: Each color filter 22 colored in any of red, green or blue has a dark color part 221 overlapping a light transmission part 211 of a reflection layer 21 and a light color part 222 having optical density higher than that of the dark color part 221. A light shielding layer 23 for light-shielding the gap between sub pixels 7 is formed by laminating at least a dark color part 221B of a blue color filter 22B, a dark color part 221R of a red color filter 22R and a dark color part 221G of a green color filter 22G.
