PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor capable of preventing the idle rotation of a ring magnet while a motor is rotating. SOLUTION: This rotor consists of a cylindrical yoke 2 which has at least one recessed section 6 provided in parallel to its axial line on its outer periphery and is formed with a through hole at its axial line, a cylindrical ring magnet 3 which has a large-diameter through hole engaging with the outer periphery of the yoke 2 and has at least one protruding section in parallel to the axial line of the cylindrical body in the through hole, and a rod-shaped shaft 4. The protruding section of the ring magnet 3 is fitted and inserted into the recessed section 6 on the yoke 2, and they are bonded to each other. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
